2006
Taurus was formed in 2006 as Taurus Site Services Inc. as a building trades contractor.
2008
In 2008 during the first economic downturn of the new millennium, Taurus went through corporate restructuring to open up opportunities for diversification. In doing so the following entities were born; Taurus Projects Group Inc. (management and staff), Taurus Investment Group Inc. (land and building ownership), Taurus Leasing Inc. (vehicle, small tools and equipment ownership)
2009
In 2009 Taurus purchased Applecart Logistics Inc. and in 2017 changed its name to Cart Construction Inc. as a non-union construction, miscellaneous transportation and related services provider.
2012
In 2012 Taurus acquired our head office location, The Taurus Business Center.
Truck Pro was formed in 2012 shortly after the head office acquisition to provide a wide range of services and repairs to all lines of light vehicles and heavy duty trucks as well as all heavy equipment. Also includes a retail parts store all housed in the Taurus Business Center.
2014
In the Fall of 2014 an introduction was made between Taurus and the patent owner of the Drill Cuttings Cleaning Process.
2017
In 2017 a mechanical and electrical division was formed with successful completed contracts for Plymovent at the LVF and OPTA shops at Suncor Fort Hills.
In the same year, Solar and Wind Power opportunities started getting serious consideration so Taurus took this on as a Business opportunity.
